In the heart of the Clarée Valley, Camping Le Montana invites you to enjoy a peaceful stay. Our outdoor facilities will allow you to share activities and leisure with your family.
From April to October, you will be amazed by the diversity of the fauna and flora and will be able to practice plenty of activities near the campsite that will satisfy young and old alike: hiking (numerous trails near the campsite), mountain biking on the trails or road biking on our mythical passes (the Granon, the Galibier and the Izoard), thrilling activities such as paragliding and, of course, white-water sports or even climbing!

With 300 days of sunshine per year, Le Montana campsite is ideally located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’Azur region. It’s situated at the heart of the Clarée valley with plenty of hiking trails, including the GR5.
In the heart of this unspoilt valley, with its dazzling landscapes that change with the seasons, there are many paths where you can walk with your family in the midst of a resplendent wilderness where you will undoubtedly come across marmots, chamois and other ungulates.
The environment is also rich in history and heritage with the numerous hamlets and alpine chalets perched on the heights that were once inhabited in the summer to cultivate the fields.
Near the campsite:
- The town of Briançon, the highest town in Europe, is 4 km away, with its “Cité Vauban”, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and all the services (shops, public administrations, tourist office, etc.). A stage town on the Grandes Alpes route, Briançon is also the crossroads between the various surrounding valleys: the Clarée, the Guisane, the Durance
- 5 km from the Italian border, the family summer/winter resort of Montgenèvre, where you can go hiking, play golf and enjoy the Durancia Balneo & Spa Centre.
A little further on:
- Towards GAP: the Ecrins National Park and also the Queyras and its regional park accessible via the mythical Col de l’Izoard.
- Towards the Col du Lautaret and the Galibier: the authentic resorts of Serre Chevalier, Monetier les Bains
In short, an ideal playground and discovery area for families or friends, to practice or to contemplate in order to recharge your batteries and disconnect.

Very pleasant campsite, family oriented, quiet and very well situated to discover the region. The manager is very attentive to the holidaymakers and is always ready to give information. The fresh bread service in the morning is EXTRA! and the small grocery shop is very helpful. We had a wonderful week.
Super campsite, impatient to taste the pizzas, ideally situated, so much so that I decided to move to the village, special mention for the cleanliness of the bungalows which is irreproachable thanks to the good care of Karine who, in addition to being very professional, is very nice, as are all the staff, I send all my notices there when visiting the area.
Super campsite, very quiet, very clean. Very friendly welcome. Nice facilities. The homemade pizza is delicious. Sanitary facilities and showers are clean. The campsites are well organised.
