Around you

Camping Le Montana is ideally located at the gateway to the Clarée on the access road to the village of Névache and its high valley, a land of hiking. In the heart of this unspoilt valley, with its dazzling landscapes that vary with the seasons, numerous paths will allow you to go for family walks in the middle of a resplendent wilderness where you will undoubtedly come across marmots, chamois and other nails; and for the luckiest, perhaps the wolf...
The environment is also rich in history and heritage with the many hamlets and alpine chalets perched on the heights which were once inhabited in summer for the cultivation of the fields.

Briançon, the highest town in Europe, with its "Cité Vauban" listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 3 kms away. Briançon is a stopover town on the Grandes Alpes route with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, and is also the crossroads between the various valleys around it: the Clarée, the Guisane and the Durance. Not forgetting the Écrins National Park but also the Queyras and its regional park accessible via the mythical Col de l'Izoard.
In short, an ideal playground and discovery area for families or friends, to practice or to contemplate in order to recharge your batteries.
